Beauty Edit

I'm definitely no beauty expert. Only until recently have I actually routinely started using face skincare daily. And, my make-up only consists of the basics that I generally only wear when I go out (and by this, I mean barely ever). So, in saying that, I'm no professional but I thought I'd just share some new cosmetics and skincare that have come into my 'routine'.

I find wearing make-up everyday terrible for my skin (and I don't really like the feel of make-up); however, after being introduced to Nars, I've begun to wear make-up more often. I absolutely love Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Barcelona. It's a very natural and light coverage, and it lasts all day! Sometimes, I will use the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard just to cover any spots. Also, I use Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (which smells just like chocolate) - it's shimmer-free, matte bronzer that I think is perfect for contouring and adding a little summer glow to the overall look.

So, as you know, I'm pretty lazy with the whole beauty routine. But I feel like mascara just makes me feel and look more awake, and I generally wear this everyday. I've tried a lot of mascaras - from Dior's Diorshow to a range of Covergirl's mascaras - but after using Benefit's They're Real Mascara, I'm not turning back. Also, the Nars Audacious Lipstick in Janet is by far my favourite lipstick. I wear a lot of black, so it's perfect just to add a bit of colour. It's matte, so I add a bit of gloss sometimes.

And, finally, Frank Body's new skincare range that consists of Creamy Face Scrub, Creamy Face Cleanser, and Everyday Face Moisturiser. I received these from Frank Body a few weeks ago, and I have been using the range everyday, so trust me when I say it's really really good. Morning and night, I use the cleanser and moisturiser, and around 2-3 times a week I will use the face scrub.

Not only are the products affordable, but they're also suitable for all skin types. So, if you're like me and know nothing about skincare, Frank Body have made it super easy. The range is packed with natural ingredients and, of course, coffee, so it's perfectly gentle for my sensitive skin. And since using the products daily, my skin is softer and smoother. I really recommend them. Plus, the packaging instructions are cheeky - you can check for yourself by purchasing some products online.

By the way, this is not a sponsored post - the products were gifted to me - I JUST LOVE THEM THAT MUCH!

Travel Guide: Paris

I was fortunate enough to visit Paris this year. Although I was only in the city for six days, I feel like I saw so many things. Like everyone, I fell in love with it's cobblestone streets and alleys, and classic architecture. For me, Paris is so full of inspiration. Yes, you can visit the classic Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame and Sainte-Chapelle, see the beautiful view from the Arc de Triomphe, the amazing work stored at The Louvre and the Centre Pompidou, and you can relax and people watch in the Jardin du Luxembourg and Place des Vosges (which I highly recommend). But there's just so much more to Paris than that. There's such a lively culture that is present. Everywhere you turn, there's just there that makes you fall deeper in love with Paris. The beauty of Paris never ceases to amaze me. The city is absolutely magical.

Neighbourhoods
Le Marais | Neighbourhood
One of Paris' oldest and most interesting area, Le Marais is historically charming. The neighbourhood is perfect for shopping and, of course, exploring the winding cobblestone streets.

Montemarte | Neighbourhood
At first, you may feel uncertain about this neighbourhood when constantly being confronted by relentless peddlers of souvenirs. But, idle away in Montemarte's back streets, and wonder the beautiful historical streets and alleys before making your way to the Sacré Cœur. From there, take in true Parisian charm.

Saint Germain | Neighbourhood
I may be a little biased (since we stayed in this neighbourhood), but it is one of the prettiest! It is great to stay if you love shopping and irresistible sweets.

Île Saint-Louis | Neighbourhood
Best to visit during quiet times (that is, the morning) to avoid an influx of tourists. From this little island, you can take in magnificent views of the city. Île Saint-Louis is perfect for summer picnics by the river.
